About Nicholas Garyfallos

Nicholas Garyfallos is a graduate of Long Island University, where he earned both his Bachelor's degree and Master's in Physical Therapy. He has been a licensed PT in New York, New Jersey, and California. He began his career at Staten Island University Hospital-South but found his passion in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine while working closely with Dr. James Nicholas. Upon Dr. Nicholas's recommendation, Nick accepted a position in a mentoring program in Los Angeles, California. While there, he became the Director of Beverly Hills Physical Therapy, treating numerous collegiate and professional athletes and collaborating with Dr. Frank Jobe and his staff to develop and implement various protocols. Nick later returned to the tristate area and served as the Director of Physical Therapy for Sports Therapy Physical Therapy in Newark, New Jersey. His unique philosophy of treating and teaching then inspired him to start his own private practice in Brooklyn, New York, which he successfully led for 20 years. Finally, Nick took the advice of his longtime friend and founder of Professional Physical Therapy, George Papadopoulos, and joined the company as a Joint Venture Partner.
