About Nicole Groszew Mattonelli

Nicole was born and raised in Northern New Jersey and later relocated to Hamilton, New Jersey, where her husband and his family grew up, to raise her own family. She completed her undergraduate education at Kean University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. During her time at Kean, she played soccer, which deepened her passion for pursuing sports rehabilitation. Nicole then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rowan University. She has spent the last 10 years working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, serving her community by addressing patients’ injuries. Nicole is Board Certified as an Orthopedic Specialist. In addition to treating patients, she dedicates time to mentoring orthopedic residents and young clinicians. Personal and professional growth are extremely important to her, which is why she continues to further her education. When Nicole is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and snowboarding.
