Hi! I am Nina Pierre, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Credentialed Alcohol Substance Abuse Counselor Master Counselor (CASAC MC). I have over 13 years of experience and earned my Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University, with a concentration in Leadership and Macropractice, and Substance Abuse. I have experience in Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Seeking Safety Therapy. I provide a safe and compassionate space to explore social identity, spirituality, loss, and needs. I am passionate about improving accessibility to treatment and promoting self-care. My experience spans various modalities, including outpatient and inpatient substance abuse treatment, transitional housing, permanent housing, and work with LGBTQIA+, HIV/AIDS, dually diagnosed, and other special needs or vulnerable populations.
