Getting to know Noemy Nunez
I believe it's important to establish trust, transparency, and create a safe environment where my clients can express themselves freely. I am deeply committed to providing them with the highest level of support and quality care. I pride myself on the ability to listen and truly understand my clients' unique needs and goals. I believe that effective communication is an essential aspect of any relationship, and I am always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that my clients feel heard and understood.
I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University Brooklyn, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively. Ultimately, I want my clients to know that they can trust me in their professional endeavors. Whether they are looking for guidance or seeking support and advice, I am here to help them achieve their goals and succeed.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am always looking to find new ways to learn and promote a mentally healthy lifestyle. I aim to provide guidance on the importance of self-care, boundaries, and overall well-being. My approach to therapy is generally to help people understand their ways of thinking and behaving, and unlearn any negative thoughts and behaviors that they may have.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In the first session I will complete an intake assessment to gather as much information to better assess and get to know you, your history, and what concerns have brought you to therapy and therefore set up goals. The following sessions, we will engage in talk therapy while pulling from various modalities to help you achieve your goals. Our sessions are 45 min in length on a weekly basis.
Please allow 15 minutes before the session to do the intake paperwork.
