About Pierce Shein

I have been a treating Physical Therapist since 2022, though my interest began in high school after taking Sports Injuries I and II with our school athletic trainer. I enjoyed the anatomy as well as the treatment approaches and diagnosis involved. I began interning and then working as a rehab technician at a local PT practice near our high school, where my passion for Physical Therapy grew. I attended the University of Delaware for my undergraduate studies, majoring in Exercise Science and minoring in Strength and Conditioning, and graduated Summa Cum Laude. I then attended the University of Delaware Doctor of Physical Therapy program, where I earned my DPT and a Master of Science in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science in 2022. I began working for Professional PT in September 2024 after recently moving to Asbury Park. Professionally, I enjoy treating orthopedic conditions, post-operative and total joint replacements, and sports-specific injuries, though I will occasionally treat balance impairments. I have also taken courses on Blood Flow Restriction and utilize it in different populations to aid in the rehab process. Personally, I enjoy staying active by going on hikes, golfing, going to the beach, and playing with my niece and nephew. I am also a movie and TV show enthusiast and love anything Marvel or sports-related.
