I am dedicated to providing a safe place where we can work through your experiences together. I understand that it is a privilege to bear witness to your vulnerability, so I will support you with compassion and a strengths-based approach. What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a queer Afro-Latina psychologist, and my identities deeply inform and enrich the way I approach therapy. This is an inclusive and affirming space where you are welcome exactly as you are. I am committed to fostering a therapeutic environment grounded in safety, respect, and empowerment, especially for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When you come to work with me, you can expect a compassionate and collaborative space where your experiences are honored and your voice is central. I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation session where I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve, while also answering any questions you have about the process. At the start of our work together, we’ll explore your background and life experiences to understand how they might be influencing your current feelings and relationships. Together, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to identify recurring patterns or behaviors that may be holding you back or causing distress. By bringing these to light, we can work collaboratively to develop new insights and healthier ways of relating to yourself and others, ultimately fostering your growth, resilience, and well-being.
