“For years, I suffered from debilitating panic attacks that controlled most aspects of my day-to-day life. I was convinced that these attacks were something I needed to avoid at all costs. I made drastic, harmful changes to my life because I was under the assumption that the best way to deal with panic was to remove any and all sources of anxiety. It was only through my therapy with Dr. Lazarovich that I learned how misguided my thinking was. She taught me to confront the sources of my panic, to become familiar and intimate with my discomfort, and to interrogate my more irrational thoughts. She pushed me to try things I never believed I could, and she did so with compassion. If it wasn't for her, I would still be living in fear of panic attacks. Now, I have the strategies and mindset necessary to embrace discomfort, accept the reality of my panic attacks, and live without fear. ”

What should a new client know about working with you?

*PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO NOT ACCEPT ANY INSURANCES AND MY FEE IS $355 PER 50 MINUTE THERAPY SESSION AND PAYMENT IS COLLECTED AT THE END OF EACH SESSION. I am happy to provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits. Here are the steps to take to inquire about out-of-network benefits: -Call the number on the back of your card and ask the following question to verify reimbursement before booking your first appointment: “I am interested in seeing an out-of-network Clinical Psychologist. Does my plan provide reimbursement for out-of-network providers? (code 90834)”? -If yes, follow-up with the following questions: -How many sessions does my plan cover? -Is telehealth covered? -What is my deductible, and has it been met? -What is the coverage amount per therapy session? -Do I need pre-authorization from my insurance company or PCP? -Do I have a copay for out of network therapy? -How many therapy sessions a year are covered? **Record the representative’s name and a reference # when checking your benefits. This information will be necessary if you ever need to dispute a rejected claim -If you confirmed you can submit for out-of-network benefits, make sure to ask your insurance company exactly how/where to submit your Superbills for reimbursement and when to expect to be reimbursed.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The initial 50-60 minute session will focus on getting to know you and gathering information about your current problems and concerns. We will discuss your values, priorities, and unique identity. Together, we’ll set goals and I will create a treatment plan to help you reach them. We will meet weekly for 50-minute sessions. While this frequency allows us to build momentum we can discuss the session frequency that best suits your needs.I will help you take small steps to make larger changes in your life. Our work may include learning and practicing skills and strategies during sessions, reading assignments, and between-session exercises to create real, long-lasting change. I will guide and support you every step of the way!

Is there a deductible or other coinsurance I have to meet first? 6. How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
