Getting to know Robyn Gold
I am a Certified Mindfulness Informed Professional (CMIP), personal coach, and psychotherapist specializing in supporting individuals in their personal growth journey using a mindfulness-based perspective. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from Wagner College. My approach focuses on compassion, the mind/body connection, neuroplasticity, meditation, and breath work, as well as teaching concrete skills you can use in daily life to improve clarity of thought, emotional regulation, and overall life satisfaction.
You are the expert and the driver of your own experience; I’m here to be your guide, to offer insights and strategies, and to support you in making the changes you want to make. You have the power to live the life you envision for yourself, and I look forward to helping you do that.

My full fee for sessions up to 55 minutes is $350. Most health insurance plans have out of network coverage that may provide partial or full reimbursement for your sessions with me.
If you'd like to use your out of network benefits for reimbursement, you can ask your insurance company the following questions to make sure you receive the benefits to which you're entitled:
Do I have out of network coverage for outpatient mental health treatment?
Do I need pre-authorization for outpatient mental health treatment?
Do I have an out of network deductible I need to meet before I am able to obtain reimbursement for outpatient mental health treatment?
Once I’ve reached my deductible, what percentage will be covered for outpatient mental health treatment sessions? Is there a maximum allowable amount for these sessions or is this percentage applied to the provider’s full rate?
Is there a limit to the number of outpatient mental health sessions for which I can seek out of network reimbursement?
What is the process for obtaining reimbursement after my session?

I began seeing Robyn before COVID and worked with her through the pandemic. She is exceptional at giving you actionable tools to manage stress/trauma/PTSD in your life. We did trauma work together and I also started meditating and doing breathing exercises when I am feeling overwhelmed. She also gave me great book recommendations that were game changers. Additionally, she has a background with kids. This was evident because her advice on raising my teen was always spot on. I still refer back to notes on guidance that she gave me. She is always there for you in an emergency, always answers her email, never makes you wait for an appointment. In short Robyn will change your life for the better if you let her. My only regret is that I didn't find her years ago. I will always be grateful for her presence in my life and my child's.

I have worked with Robyn for over three years now. As someone who has worked with multiple therapists over the years, I can say that she is undoubtedly the best therapist I have ever had. She is kind, caring, respectful and compassionate. I was already at a place of being self-aware but I've literally "leveled up" since working with Robyn : I have even more clarity, feel more grounded and am able to better and calmly navigate situations that previously triggered me. Robyn's kindness and insight allowed me to develop a deep trust with her, and that has helped me be vulnerable with both her and myself - which is necessary for growth. I recommend Robyn as a therapist without hesitation!

Robyn is an intuitive and compassionate therapist who incorporates a variety of tools in treating trauma and anxiety. She is flexible with the pacing of treatment, allowing safety and comfort in the room to be prioritized over all else. I have noticed many significant changes in my life as a result of our work together, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of treatment for PTSD, particularly anyone looking to try EMDR.

I had a great visit today...Robyn is a great therapist! She understands me in a way no one else does and points out things I never noticed about myself. She helps me understand my feelings and why I get anxious and she teaches me how I can deal with it to feel more calm.

I was nervous but Robyn made me feel so relaxed right away. She is very supportive and nonjudgmental. She went at my pace and didn't force me to talk about things I wasn't ready to talk about yet so that helped me feel safe and comfortable. I am looking forward to going back to see her again.

My son has been seeing Robyn for the past 6 months and each time we go it feels like I have more hope for the future. Robyn has been helping him learn how to calm himself down when he's upset or angry. Amazingly, he has actually been having less tantrums and they don't last as long as when he first started seeing her. I also appreciate that she includes me and my husband too. She's wonderful!
