About Dr. Samantha Smith

Samantha Smith is a physical therapist who's passionate about helping people of all ages return to doing the things they love. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Pittsburgh and has since developed a special passion for working with adolescents and teens, as well as post-operative patients. During her clinical rotation in sports physical therapy, she gained valuable experience in return-to-sport testing for both everyday athletes and college athletes. Her approach to therapy is all about collaboration. Samantha works closely with her patients to set realistic goals and create a plan that not only helps them recover but also empowers them to become more active than before. Whether someone is recovering from an injury or looking to enhance their movement, Samantha is dedicated to guiding them every step of the way. Originally from New Jersey, Samantha moved to Chicago to explore a new city and embrace all the excitement it has to offer. Outside of work, she loves exploring new restaurants and coffee shops with friends, playing pickleball, running, and practicing Pilates. She's also excited to experience the amazing Chicago summers that everyone talks about!

From the very first meeting, Sam made me feel very comfortable and was very intentional, understanding & personalized her approach w/ me and my injury. Sam is incredibly personable, kind & charasmatic. I looked forward to coming here & always felt better when I had to leave. I could not say enough my things about Sam! She was the best person I could have found for this PT journey. 10/10!!!
