What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapeutically, I am an integrative Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. This means that I begin therapy using the framework of CBT, with the understanding that not every approach works for every person. If CBT isn’t effective for you, I incorporate techniques from other therapeutic approaches to best support your needs. As an evaluator, I carefully consider which tests are necessary for your neuropsychological evaluation. I do not administer tests unless they are essential for understanding your cognitive and emotional functioning. You can trust that I only use assessments that are purposeful and relevant to your needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Whether you are seeking an evaluation or therapy, we will begin with an intake appointment where I gather your medical and background history. I believe in a collaborative approach to care, meaning that your input is always valued. If you are receiving therapy, I regularly check in to assess your progress. If needed, we will work together to adjust our approach and ensure that you are receiving the most effective treatment possible.
