Sarah Osborn, LMHC

Sarah Osborn, LMHC

Psychotherapist
WA
I have a deep commitment to giving grace and understanding to every client that seeks counseling. It takes great courage to ask for help. Individuals are always welcome to express themselves freely--knowing their thoughts and feelings are fully accepted in the counseling space. Whether you are navigating complex emotions, life transitions, or mental health challenges, my empathetic approach ensures that you will feel and supported on your journey of healing and personal growth. I specialize in treating a wide variety of conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD), and ADHD. I am particularly passionate about working with clients who are navigating issues of gender identity and I consider myself an ally to the LGBTQ+ community. I also am a strong advocate for domestic violence survivors, children with developmental disabilities, veterans, and marginalized individuals in our society. Although my grounding theoretical framework of counseling is attachment theory, I draw from many different theories and use an integrated (aka eclectic) approach to doing therapy with clients. I utilize cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectic behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), creative counseling techniques, psychoeducation, bibliotherapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to meet the unique needs of each individual. My approach is rooted in the believe that while the journey may be difficult--you have the resiliency to get through.
