Making changes in your life can be a difficult and, sometimes frightening, task. You have already taken one of the hardest steps, which is acknowledging that you need help. Therapy can provide a safe and collaborative environment to gain an understanding of the thoughts and feelings that you experience. Having the opportunity to explore your past and present can help form the foundation for future change and growth. My goal is to provide a comfortable and nonjudgmental space for you to explore who you are now and who you are looking to be.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I believe that therapy works differently for everyone. No two people are alike, and I treat each client differently. I am trained in the use of CBT, trauma-focused CBT, insight-oriented psychotherapy, person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing. We will decide together how therapy can be most helpful to you in reaching your goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
My goal is to provide a safe and accepting environment in which you can feel comfortable expressing your thoughts and feelings. Therapy is a shared journey of discovery, choice, and change. I would like to take that journey with you.
