I graduated in 2010 with a Master’s in Social Work from Binghamton University, NY, and later obtained my PhD in Psychology from Walden University in 2020. I have over 12 years of experience practicing psychotherapy in various settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, and residential treatment facilities. My areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, treating OCD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more. My approach I believe that therapy is not just a science—applying evidence-based theoretical approaches—but also an art. I weave in and apply eclectic modalities to therapy. I utilize I-CBT, ACT, DBT-informed techniques, somatic therapy, and other evidence-based collaborative approaches to thoughtfully and carefully assess and understand clients, designing effective interventions that best help resolve issues and support clients in meeting their healing and recovery needs. My focus I typically work with clients aged 18 and up who struggle with challenges including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, OCD, transition issues, bipolar disorder, self-doubt, self-esteem issues, conflictual relationships, personality disorders, parenting, grief and loss, trauma, problem-solving, and much more. My communication style I utilize a trauma-informed perspective with a focus on ensuring my clients feel physically, emotionally, and mentally safe and respected so that they can confidently and effectively engage in therapy.
