In our sessions, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental environment where you are encouraged to speak freely. While I prioritize empathy and a strong therapeutic alliance, I also utilize evidence-based techniques to help you reach your goals. We may draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and shift challenging thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation, or mindfulness-based strategies to help you stay grounded in the present. Because I specialize in working with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions, our work often focuses on how these shifts impact your sense of self and your relationships. Every session is a step toward the version of yourself you want to become. While every journey is unique, you can expect to walk away from our work with a personalized "toolbox" of practical strategies—such as grounding exercises or cognitive reframing—that you can apply the moment you leave the room. Beyond these immediate tools, our collaboration aims to foster a deeper sense of self-awareness and long-term resilience. I view myself as a guide in this process, but you remain the expert on your own life. We will move at a pace that feels safe for you, consistently ensuring that our work remains aligned with your needs, your values, and your vision for lasting, positive change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In the first session I will complete an intake assessment to gather as much information to better assess and get to know you, your history, and what concerns have brought you to therapy and therefore set up goals. The following sessions, we will engage in talk therapy while pulling from various modalities to help you achieve your goals. Our sessions are 45 min in length on a weekly basis. Please allow 15 minutes before the session to do the intake paperwork. I PROVIDE PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES ONLY; PLEASE NOTE I DON’T PROVIDE MEDICATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES.
