About Dr. Shannon Keane

At House of Physical Therapy, we treat active professionals who use exercise as stress relief. We understand the fear of being told to "rest," which drives our treatment philosophy. Our average patient reports less pain within the first three sessions. Next, we target the underlying cause to prevent pain from returning, then stay with you as you transition back to the gym with full confidence! A note from Dr. Shannon – If I could choose my career again, I would do it in a heartbeat. I knew I wanted to be a healthcare practitioner after suffering various injuries playing soccer and softball for years. I have strained, pulled, and torn muscles I had no knowledge of until this career. Through many rehabilitations and sometimes tears, I found Physical Therapists truly invest in you, listen, and help you laugh through it. I chose PT because the little kid in me (going through rehab) wants to help others reach their maximum potential doing things they love, or sometimes loathe, as others helped me. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from the State University of New York, Stony Brook. I knew I would never be happy unless I was working with people, physically and emotionally, through struggles I have also experienced. I love that I get to jump up from a desk and implement evidence-based techniques that stimulate the mind and body connection. Through years of practicing Physical Therapy, I have met some of my closest friends and my future husband. It takes a village to raise a child; it takes those closest to love and support you through ups and downs. My support system pushes me to challenge myself, continue to educate myself, and never settle for less than exceptional (which is what I will give). I derive happiness from serving others—whether relieving pain, teaching proper form, or simply giving you my undivided attention.. Shannon was so professional and also down to earth I was seen on time and all my needs were met, all my questions and concerns were addressed. I recommend Shannon and House of PT highly
Shannon is so sweet, so professional, so knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. She has helped me so much , I enjoy and look forward doing my exercises because of Shannon .
I can’t recommend Dr Keane enough She helped me Immensely. My first visit with her was amazing. She listened, asked questions to really get the full picture, and made me laugh for the first time while discussing my injury. Her evaluation was so thorough, and she took the time to explain everything to me as went, which you really don’t get in our healthcare system anymore. I left that first visit feeling confident, comfortable, and like she really ‘got’ me. After only a handful of visits, I was back to running, lifting, and yoga Without pain. She helped me modify my activities along the way so I was never ‘cut off’ from my activities, too, which was great for my mental health. I highly recommend Dr Keane for a quick, efficient and fun injury recovery experience.
Shannon is amazing! She always had new exercises for me to try to keep my work out fresh and is very knowledgeable. Shannon was always willing to go out of her way to help me with whatever I needed. She is very personable and easy to talk to while still maintaining a professional atmosphere. I highly recommend her!
Shannon is very knowledgeable and professional. She’s always super positive and creates a fun environment! I dealt with many setbacks and injuries along the way and she always pushes you to keep getting stronger.
I'm immensely grateful for the exceptional care provided by Shannon, during her time in Colorado. Her accurate diagnosis of my separated shoulder and targeted treatment plan led to noticeable improvements with each visit. Shannon and her team were transparent about pricing, ensuring no surprises. Their compassion and encouragement created a positive atmosphere during my rehabilitation. Plus she had some great jokes! I highly recommend this PT. Thank you for helping me regain strength and confidence.
Shannon has been a joy to work with through several different injuries/maladies. Her expertise is wide-ranging and her methodologies and recommendations are always effective. She is also an absolute joy to talk to and is generally interested in her patients lives, results, and well-being. If you are in need of physical or occupational therapy, look no further.
Shannon is truly a miracle worker! I’ve had debilitating low back pain for two years (multiple herniated discs), and she’s the only PT I’ve found thus far that has helped ease my pain and increase my mobility. She’s a great listener, very compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. She truly has a gift of healing!
Shannon is a fantastic PT. She is friendly and knowledgeable, treating each patient individually with tailored care. She truly cares about her clients and goes out of her way to care for them. I’d recommend her to anyone!
