Hi, welcome to Inspiring Hope Therapy. I am currently accepting new clients and specialize in Trauma and EMDR Therapy. As a Veteran's wife, I understand PTSD well. Difficult experiences in life can bring up feelings of anxiety, depression, and a lack of motivation or direction. As an ADHD and chronic fatigue-informed provider, I also understand the frustration, shame, and disappointment that come with struggling to function, focus, and complete tasks. I can help you process difficult memories and quiet that negative inner voice you can't seem to ignore. I am passionate about working with people who are hurting-to inspire hope, strengthen resiliency, and empower clients to live authentically while regaining confidence and joy. As a trauma-informed therapist, I can safely guide you through the images and triggers that affect your daily life. I provide individualized treatment, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, a highly effective technique that helps relieve anxiety, panic, and depression. I have witnessed incredible transformations through this approach. I hold a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University Arizona (OUAZ), which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support you effectively. I strive to create an inviting, safe environment through my compassionate approach. I would love to learn about you so we can collaborate to make therapy a beneficial and enjoyable process. Therapeutic alliance is a key component of successful treatment. Please take a moment to review my services and contact me so we may determine if we are a good therapeutic fit.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I often work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, depression or trauma related to their relationships or family. During our initial sessions, we will look deeply into issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter..

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Each person is unique, so the approach is unique to each person as well, I tailor their treatment to their particular needs and how they will best respond to information. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and determine goals for therapy. We'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions. In treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better and become able to self-regulate and stay present in the now.
