Very kind gentle & skilled.
Dr Tatz is amazing. Not only is he fixing the pain in my shoulder, but he's correcting LONG-standing problems I've had since an accident 7 years ago. I didn't know I could feel this good again! I've been in PT many times as an injured athlete and for the accident, and I've never received such quality care. He is incredibly knowledgable, friendly, intuitive, and has excellent bedside manner.
Dr Tatz is so effective, I'm recommending him to all of my friends. I was awake at night with an injured shoulder, and in just 1 visit he was able to completely eliminate the throbbing pain that had kept me in ice packs. In two visits I had back almost full mobility.
What a gifted therapist! I was so surprised at how he immediately made my pain and tension melt away. The at home exercises are easy to remember/do
Excellent and impressive
He is a hands-on physical therapist, not someone who gives you a giant rubber band and says "do 10 reps" then leaves the room and forces you to chase him down for the next non-beneficial exercise. Especially good with musicians and dancers.
After my first visit I feel much better with a significant reduction in pain. I was particularly impressed with fact that after 10 minutes of working with me, he asked how long I had taken Alexander Techniques lessons (I've studied AT for years) Mr Tatz said I would need 12 - 15 sessions I have feeling he will heal me in much less. I highly recommend Mr. Tatz. Karen B
I left after 18 sessions because I wasn't getting any better. Word to the wise: Find someone who communicates clearly and is willing to work with your doctor.
It's a process getting fixed when you are injured bit he is excellent
Very helpful. Will continue
Lots of people love Dr. Tatz, and he is confident and very skilled. However, his personality was not a good match for me. He could be more understanding of the fact that pain and musicians' injuries have a huge mental and psychological component. At times I think about going back, but I'm afraid he will yell at me.
This physical therapist understands the body's messages, expands his attention from the specific site of pain to related sites, uses a variety of approaches to touch, and is deeply kind and insightful. I immediately made another appointment and plan to continue with him. As far as I can tell, he is unique. (I have seen about 10 other PTs over the years.) Highly recommended.
He is the true healer. I've only had 1 session with Dr Tatz and I already feel hundred times better than before. I have never experienced this with any other doctor I've been to, it's amazing. He feels where your problems are, you don't need to tell him anything, he already knows. Dr Tatz is an incredible doctor and I can finally be optimistic that I will be able to return to playing my instrument soon and enjoy life again!
Wonderful and fascinating
Shmuel Tatz was very professional and was very clear in his explanation to me of things I needed to consider.
He's a healer!
he is a master
He's a "maestro" when it comes to the healing of the body. He's way ahead of the pack as far as experience and know-how, and is clearly aware of it, as he should be.
He really knows the body and has a nuanced, multi-disciplinary approach to pain reduction. He'll give you a specific target to get things working/feeling better (e.g. 2x per week for 5 weeks). Robert, who works with him in his office, is amazing as well. Try to work with the two of them together.
Amazingly kind and generous, and knowledgeable. Far better than any other pt I have been to in recent memory.
He was quite charming and seemed to know what he was doing. I sprained my ankle very badly, and it's nice to have exercises to do now. He told me I'd be dancing in six weeks. The proof is in the pudding, though, so I'll update again here once I've been seeing him for longer. He could bump up to five stars :)
I like his quiet manner and hands-on approach. His receptionist is most polite and helpful! This is the first visit; fingers crossed for good results...
