Psychotherapist
580 Forest Ave, Ste 3B, Plymouth, MI
Life can wear you out. Over time, it can become harder to prioritize your own needs, trust yourself, or even recognize who you are anymore. If you’ve been carrying a lot on your own for a long time, starting therapy can feel intimidating and it’s also a brave step toward something better. I specialize in supporting adults, teens, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship stress. My approach is compassionate, structured, and down-to-earth. In our work together, you’ll have space to feel understood and supported, while also being gently challenged in ways that lead to real growth. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you it’s about helping you reconnect with yourself, build practical tools, and move forward with more clarity, confidence, and peace.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often describe me as warm, easy to talk to, and honest in a supportive way. I work hard to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental where you don’t have to have it all figured out to show up. I believe therapy works best when it’s both validating and practical. That means we’ll explore the deeper “why” behind what you’re feeling, while also building coping tools you can use right away in everyday life. I tailor therapy to each person and focus on what feels most important to you. My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling more grounded, more understood, and more equipped to handle whatever life is throwing at you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In the first session, we’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’re struggling with currently, and what you’d like life to feel like instead. I’ll also ask questions about your history, stressors, supports, and what has or hasn’t helped in the past. You’re always in control of what you share we move at a pace that feels safe. After the intake, we’ll work together to create a plan that fits your goals. Sessions often include a mix of talking through patterns and triggers, building emotional awareness, learning coping and communication skills, and strengthening confidence in daily decision-making.
