What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach as a therapist is rooted in strengths-based, trauma informed practice, emphasizing social justice. I believe in the collaborative and collective power of therapeutic alliance. My specializations I integrate into practice are DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy. I have worked primarily with adults across generations and identities with many mental health challenges and life transitions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, CPTSD, chronic stress, addiction, eating disorders, relationship challenges, and experiences such as sexual trauma.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I see meeting challenges and transition in our lives as an opportunity to continue growing. I work with my clients to process and understand experiences of past and present and build skills in resilience towards a healing future. Our sessions are your work space for development and nourishment of your emotional self.
