“I was not sure what to expect from a virtual PT appointment, but Stephanie was great! She listened to my problem & what my needs were, did a full evaluation of my range of motion, and walked me through several exercises + corrected my form over zoom. I really appreciated her advice and her support of my issues. Just be ready to get up & move around the room!”

“I have been seeing Stephanie for 6 months on and off, and I couldn't be more impressed and thankful for a physical therapist. She gave me confidence when I thought I couldn't get better, and her experience trumps most PT's I know. She has a wealth of knowledge and really cares about her patients. I highly recommend seeing her!”

I have been to a total of 5 physical therapists throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn to treat symptoms if sciatica and bulging discs. 4 of the locations I went to were average to insulting. Dr. (Stephanie) Shane went above and beyond. Five stars is not enough.

I've had a number of injuries over the years and have seen a variety of physical therapists. I'd highly recommend Stephanie Shane. I saw her at her East Village office in early 2018 for an aggravated ankle sprain. She works directly with all of her patients 1:1, is consistently on time and focused, and has an clean, new office to perform the therapy. In particular I like that she does not delegate to an army of physical therapy assistants in a large gym setting. Instead, her clinic is small and she works directly with all patients 1:1, 100% of the time. She is professional and has produced great results on an injury which has lingered for more than 2 years prior to visiting her. She'd be my first choice in the future.

Stephanie was amazing, very kind and welcoming, great bedside manner, knew exactly what she was doing for my injury. She tested the injury herself, then massaged and worked the area and gave me easy-to-follow PT exercises. She also seemed very knowledgeable about health and physical wellness in general. Her downtown space (on 10th avenue) is very nice and clean.
Really thorough and knowledgeable

She was wonderful. Really felt like she took a good look at what could be wrong with me. Gave me some exercises to do and also wants to make sure my form is right in the workouts I am doing to ensure that is not doing more harm than good!

I went in right after work, but my appointment was about half an hour later. They actually moved me up and I got to see Stephanie much sooner. She was very thorough with the procedure, making sure to check everything. She was kind and descriptive with her explanations.

This is the best PT I have ever been to. Its not just some hand work and then tiny workouts at home. They have me working out and on my muscles for a half hour and are also doing hand work to help my knee. They also have chiro who comes in and is working with me on neck and back pain.
