Psychotherapist

Hi there, I'm Taylor! Therapy can feel like a big step. My role is to walk alongside you and make sure the process feels supportive and meaningful. I work with people going through life changes, dealing with anxiety or depression, or carrying the weight of past experiences. Every session is shaped around you—what you need, what you hope for, and where you want to go. When you’re ready, I’m here to offer a safe, nurturing space where you can show up just as you are. My approach My approach to therapy is integrative. We'll look at early childhood attachments, deconstruct narratives, and challenge unhelpful thoughts. Treatment will be unique to you and ever-evolving. My focus Do you feel like a passenger in your own life sometimes? Are you a giver who has given all you can give? I hope to help you find your confidence and your voice, to put the focus back on you, to help you set boundaries and make life decisions and changes that are aligned with your values. My communication style My communication can be direct but sometimes passive. I meet you where you are. Sometimes you may need a gentle nudge and a challenge to dig deeper. Other times, you'll need me to simply listen and offer quiet support. My journey to mental healthcare In my mid-30's I made a career shift from advertising to counseling. I had worked alongside people in the industry who were hurting, and that hurt was showing up in their work and in their relationships. Being a natural listener and problem-solver, counseling allows me to have a more direct and positive impact. My goals for you We'll talk about your goals for therapy early on, and check in regularly on how you're feeling with progress. My first session with you Our first session together is very much like meeting a new friend for the first time. I'll ask lots of questions to get to know you. I want to fully understand your values, the way you think, what you want from life and your relationships, and how you're showing up in the world.
