Tijo received his master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College. He has over two years of experience providing services for adolescents and adults and would love to help people who struggle with various issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, panic disorder, PTSD, relationship issues, OCD, communication challenges, self-esteem concerns, stress, trauma, and ADHD. He also utilizes approaches such as CBT and Gestalt therapy to help his clients meet their needs and goals.
Tijo creates an environment that is safe, patient-centered, and non-judgmental. He works hard to maintain a respectful space where his clients can feel heard and understood. He believes that every individual is unique, and by building connection and applying techniques, he hopes to help his clients reach the goals they have set for therapy. His main goal is to help his clients walk away from therapy empowered with the tools they need to feel more confident and successful in their daily lives!

I went here for help cause I have not been feeling mentally well and was never told that my appointment was canceled. I found out while I was waiting in there office. keep in my there is no receptionist its just a waiting room. And I called the number provided for this therapist while I was in there waiting room and when I spoke with operator or who ever it is they said your appointment was canceled because of your mental condition. Side note when i got there I did receive a text asking if I was there and 2 hrs before that prepare for your appointment. No one called or emailed it was canceled
