Starting therapy is one of the most courageous steps you can take — and I'm honored to walk alongside you when you do. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience, I've had the privilege of helping individuals, couples, and families move through some of life's hardest moments: crushing anxiety, the grip of addiction, family relationships strained by years of unresolved conflict, and anger that feels impossible to control. My approach is simple: therapy should feel like a place where you can finally exhale. I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you're free to say the things you've never said out loud, explore the patterns holding you back, and build real, practical tools for lasting change — not just quick fixes for a hard week. Whether you're facing a racing mind at 3am, rebuilding trust after addiction, breaking a painful family cycle, or learning to manage anger before it manages you, we'll work together at a pace that respects where you actually are, not where you think you should be. I work with clients across every stage of life — teens, young adults, adults, seniors, couples, families, and groups — and offer convenient virtual sessions to fit your schedule and comfort level. I'm in-network with Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and 200+ additional plans, so getting started is often more affordable than people expect. Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling, happier life takes courage — and you don't have to take it alone. I'd be honored to support you on that journey. What should a new client know about working with you?

Before your first session: You don't need to prepare a speech or have your problem neatly defined. "I don't know where to start, I just know something's not right" is a perfectly good reason to be here. Just show up as you are. Your first appointment: This is a bit different from future sessions — it's really a conversation, not a consultation. We'll talk through what's brought you in, your history, and what you're hoping changes. There's no clock pressure to get to the "real issue" right away, and no wrong way to answer a question. You're also evaluating me just as much as I'm getting to know you — if something doesn't feel like the right fit, that's useful information, not a failure. How we'll work together: After that first session, we'll build a plan shaped around you — whether that's weekly sessions, a shorter focused course of work, or something more flexible. Progress isn't always a straight line, especially with anger, anxiety, or addiction recovery, and setbacks along the way are part of the process, not a sign it isn't working. Logistics, made easy: All sessions are conducted virtually, so you can meet from wherever's most comfortable for you. I'm in-network with Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and 200+ other plans — enter your insurance above to check your coverage before booking. Please note: I am not in-network with Medicaid and do not prescribe medication. Clients seeking medication management should plan to coordinate with a separate prescriber alongside our work together. Confidentiality: What you share stays private, with the standard legal exceptions any licensed therapist must disclose (like risk of harm to yourself or others) — I'll walk you through this clearly at our first meeting. The hardest step is the first one. I'd be glad to help with the rest.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

1. Reaching Out The process starts with booking an initial appointment online. There's no need to explain your situation in detail beforehand — a general sense of what's bringing you in is enough to get started. 2. The Intake Session Your first session is focused on getting to know you: your history, what's currently going on, and what you're hoping to work toward. This session tends to be a little more structured than later ones, since it lays the groundwork for how we'll approach things together. It's also a chance for you to get a feel for my style and ask any questions you have. 3. Building a Plan Together After the intake, we'll talk through what a realistic path forward looks like — how often we'll meet, what we'll focus on first, and what kind of approach fits your specific concern, whether that's anxiety, addiction recovery, family conflict, or anger management. This isn't a fixed formula; it's shaped around what you actually need. 4. Ongoing Sessions Most clients settle into a regular weekly or biweekly rhythm, meeting virtually at a time that fits their schedule. Early sessions often focus on understanding patterns and building coping tools; later sessions tend to shift toward applying those tools to real situations and tracking what's changing. 5. Checking In on Progress Therapy isn't static — we'll periodically revisit how things are going and adjust the plan as needed. Progress isn't always a straight line, especially with issues like addiction or anger, and that's expected, not a sign something's wrong. 6. Wrapping Up (When You're Ready) There's no set endpoint. Some clients work with me for a few focused months; others prefer ongoing, longer-term support. We'll talk openly about when it feels right to reduce sessions or conclude care. A Few Practical Notes All sessions are conducted virtually. I'm in-network with Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and 200+ other plans. I am not in-network with Medicaid and do not prescribe med
