Dr. Trevor Alleman is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY32530) who treats adults, adolescents, and couples. Trevor earned his doctorate in clinical psychology doctorate at Fuller School of Psychology in Pasadena, CA. His doctoral dissertation explored the phenomenon of trauma reenactment in romantic relationships. Under the mentorship of his advisor, Alvin Dueck, Trevor studied the impact of culture, community, and religion on the psychotherapy process. Trevor completed a two-year predoctoral internship in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at The Wright Institute of Los Angeles (WILA). His postdoctoral hours were accrued at Westmont College Counseling Center and in private practice with Richard Michalsen, PhD, an expert in child and adolescent psychotherapy. Trevor specializes in ISTDP (Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy). In addition to other ISTDP training, Trevor completed a three-year, 225-hour core training with renowned teacher Jon Frederickson.
