“I really enjoyed my sessions with Veronica! She made everything feel safe and offered several new perspectives for me to take a look at, but most of all, she always made sure that I was centering myself. When I felt like I was losing track of my thoughts, or if I went completely off topic on a rant, she would quite literally help guide me back to my center before we went any further. She has a wonderful assortment of exercises that I found to be extremely helpful. I have even implemented them in my own journaling practice. The only critique I have is that we have had some sessions start late, however, our time is always made up for and allows for a very flexible dynamic. Veronica is very open and blends her practice with an inner trust for the journey of our conversations. She has an amazing intuitive sense for deeper truths which is what made her stand out from all of the other therapists I've been with. I highly recommend seeing Veronica, especially if you are a creative person.”

Coffie supports clients in aligning their lives with their values and empowers them to make sustainable changes. With a Master's in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute, Coffie's practice integrates the creative process, cognitive behavioral techniques (CBT), mindfulness skills, and verbal psychotherapy to help define goals and gather insight. Coffie positions their work at the intersection of art, community wellbeing, and mental health, exploring creativity for healing both individually and collectively. The primary goal is to offer emotional relief and build resilience through knowledge, expertise, radical acceptance, compassion, and empathy. By working with Coffie, clients are ready to take the step to reconnect with their own needs, make themselves a priority, and find relief.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My therapeutic style is warm, empathetic, and affirming. I encourage you to think of our sessions as "you time." During our sessions, we cover whatever you want to bring to the table, and I support you in assessing how these issues relate to your goals, helping us keep track of your progress. My foundation is primarily talk therapy, but I also offer art therapy as an additional tool. We can incorporate it as we see fit to help you process, reflect, and gain clarity and insight. Taking the leap to engage in the therapeutic process is a significant step in prioritizing your own needs. Appropriate humor and authenticity are always part of our sessions, creating a comfortable and genuine space for your personal growth and healing.
