Psychotherapist

When you’re tired of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, therapy can help you find your way back to yourself. You may be functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or exhausted on the inside. Perhaps you’ve tried to cope on your own, talked about what happened, or learned all the “right” strategies—but something still doesn’t feel resolved. Maybe your mind understands what happened, but your body still feels like it’s happening. I offer virtual therapy for adults across Pennsylvania who are navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, burnout, life transitions, and nervous system dysregulation. My work is especially grounded in trauma-informed care and EMDR, while also incorporating somatic and yoga-informed approaches to support healing that involves the whole person.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy doesn’t have to be about endlessly analyzing what is wrong with you. Together, we can begin to understand the patterns that developed to help you survive and explore what you need now to feel more grounded, connected, and at ease. I integrate traditional talk therapy with EMDR, somatic therapy, mindfulness, and yoga-informed practices. Depending on your needs and goals, our work may focus on processing past experiences, building emotional regulation, developing a stronger sense of safety, or reconnecting with your body and yourself. My approach is collaborative, gentle, and paced with you. You don’t have to tell your entire story on the first day, and you don’t have to know exactly what you need before we begin.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe healing happens when we slow down, feel supported, and begin listening to both mind and body with more care. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Yoga Teacher, I bring together my clinical training and experience with yoga and mindfulness to offer a more integrated approach to therapy. I’m particularly interested in the ways trauma and chronic stress can affect the nervous system, relationships, emotions, and our sense of connection with ourselves. My goal is not simply for you to understand yourself better. It’s to help you develop the tools, awareness, and internal sense of safety to experience life differently. This is meant to be a place to exhale. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’ve had experiences where you felt misunderstood, rushed, or pressured to open up before you were ready. I want therapy to feel different. You can show up exactly as you are. We’ll start where you are, move at a pace that feels manageable, and work together toward meaningful change. Whether you are working through trauma, anxiety, grief, burnout, or simply know that something needs to change, you don’t have to navigate it alone. If this approach resonates with you, I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we might be a good fit.
