About Vincent C. Ferrara Jr.

Vincent graduated with his BS as a Pre-Physical Therapy student from Hartwick College, where he also played college football and lacrosse. Upon graduation he earned his DPT from Stony Brook University. Vincent began his time at Professional PT as a student doing his last clinical affiliation and was hired as a full-time Physical Therapist in our Queens office immediately after his graduation. In 2009, he transferred to our Garden City office, where he became the Coordinator for Clinical Education in 2010 and a Shift Supervisor in 2011. In December of 2012, he transferred to our Melville office, where he was promoted to Clinical Director. As Professional PT continued to grow its footprint further into Suffolk County, Vincent took over our newly acquired practice in Port Jefferson Station in late 2015. Vincent is still currently the Clinical Director in this location 11 years later. Vincent is actively engaged in the local sports community with specific focuses on football and lacrosse. As an avid skier, Vincent also enjoys rehabbing patients who may look to prepare or recover from their ski seasons. Vincent feels that having been a patient himself during his athletic career, and a coach & mentor to current student athletes, it helps him relate to his patients and give the best care available. His experiences include a wide variety of high-level athletes, including high school, collegiate, UFC, MLS, NHL, and MLB. Vincent enjoys all things orthopedic and sports related!!!
