Dr. William Vingiano, PhD

Dr. William Vingiano, PhD

Psychologist
100B Danbury Rd, Ste 202J, Ridgefield, CT
I originally trained as a Clinical Psychologist at New York University, with internships at NYU Medical Center, Bellvue Hospital, and the Manhattan VA Hospital. After my internship, I worked at Beth Israel Hospital at 17th St and 1st Ave in Manhattan, not far from where my wife and I were living at the time. When our children were about to reach school age, we moved to Hastings on Hudson and have been here since. Our two beautiful children are grown now and are making their way in the world. We are so proud of them both! I have had training in biofeedback, hypnosis, and EDMR. Throughout all of my training, my own personal mission was to never allow theory or technique to interfere with the basic truth that love must be present in order for emotional healing to unfold. My practice is focused from the first session on fostering a deep sense of trust and safety in the therapy space, and in me. Our initial goal will be to institute practical and immediate changes you can make to help you improve your emotional state. I entered this field because my vision of an ideal life was to bring compassion and healing to as many people as possible. I have never deviated from that vision and seek to fulfill it daily. If you would like more details about my education and work history, my Curriculum Vitae is below. Please view some of my videos to see whether you feel that we could work well together. Therapy is fundamentally about chemistry and connection. If you feel that I can help you, please contact me.
