As both a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, I work with people experiencing various difficulties in their lives. I help patients struggling with stress, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Initially, we collaborate to alleviate symptoms, with the eventual goal of uncovering the underlying patterns causing your distress. I treat using both medication and dynamic psychotherapy. Beginning with a psychiatric evaluation, we will work together to determine the best course of treatment for you. I am a firm believer in attending to the therapeutic relationship, considering the full picture, and understanding you within the context of your unique cultural background and identity. I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology - Long Island Campus and completed my residency in Psychiatry at Maimonides Medical Center.
