*I am currently offering virtual sessions for patients in Texas, and in-person and virtual sessions for patients in North Carolina.*
I am a psychiatrist and psychotherapist certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, focusing on mood and anxiety disorders, identity, trauma, relationship challenges, and couples therapy.I earned both my Doctor of Medicine and a Master's in Public Health from Harvard University, and completed my Psychiatry residency at Columbia University. I am passionate about helping individuals and couples improve their relationships, self-esteem, careers, and sense of who they are. I am extensively trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Psychodynamic/Insight-Oriented therapy, Supportive Psychotherapy, Mindfulness techniques, person-centered use of psychotropic medications, and Couples Therapy. I strive to develop a deep understanding of each individual person and will work together with you to find the most helpful approach to the struggles you may be experiencing.
I am an Out of Network provider, but I will provide receipts for you to submit to your insurance for any reimbursement you might receive. Please note I am currently only accepting patients who are interested in therapy (with or without medication management).
What should a new client know about working with you?
I like to take my time getting to know you before collaboratively developing a treatment plan.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I begin the first visit with a thorough discussion of your history and situation. The next several visits may involve getting to know you more in depth or beginning to discuss a treatment plan together. I often will provide you some options of the type of psychotherapy that may be helpful and hear your feedback before starting psychotherapy together.

Dr. Du is an incredibly professional and compassionate provider. I have had the privilege of being under her care since late 2019, and she has supported me in ways I will always be grateful for.
