Psychotherapist

When anxiety, stress, or emotional patterns begin to affect daily life, relationships, and overall well-being, it can feel overwhelming and difficult to know where to turn. Having thoughtful, structured support during these times can make a meaningful difference. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I provide evidence-based, relational therapy for adults and young adults navigating anxiety, chronic stress, mood concerns, life transitions, trauma-related stress, and emotional overwhelm. A significant part of my work includes supporting clients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety-related patterns. I also support parents who are seeking therapy for themselves as they manage stress, burnout, and the emotional demands of caregiving. My approach is grounded in evidence-based treatment and tailored to each individual. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and DBT-informed skills. While grounded in evidence-based care, my work is principles-driven rather than rigid, with a focus on helping clients understand their patterns and move toward healthier, more functional ways of responding that align with their goals and values. In our work together, I aim to create a steady, supportive space where clients feel understood while also gently challenged to grow. Therapy is not only about reducing symptoms — it is about building emotional regulation, flexibility, and confidence that extends beyond the therapy room.

DISCLAIMER: Not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My path into mental health work was shaped by early experiences witnessing how stress and emotional challenges can affect individuals and families over time. These experiences fostered a deep appreciation for the impact of support, understanding, and effective coping strategies during difficult periods. This perspective continues to inform my work today, guiding my commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based, and compassionate care — while also allowing space for warmth, curiosity, and lightness when it helps make challenging work feel more manageable. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with my dog and loved ones, going on outdoor adventures, and getting lost in a good work of fiction.
