She has changed my life over the past 8 months. I've seen 4 other psychiatrists in the past, & she's the only one that seems to care more about her patients than trying to shove in tons of appointments ($$$) all at once just to be seen for 10 minutes . The wait times are very short, 5-10 minutes, compared to the 30 - 45 minutes I had to wait in a crowded waiting room with my last psychiatrist. Be very patient with her, while she tries to find that (perfect match) of medications that works well with your brain chemicals.
Very knowledgeable but she kept answering her phone during the appointment which I found disrespectful and distracting. The wait time was long. She has three people scheduled for the same time.
I think the visit great . Dr. Mocellin asked a little questions that I never thought about asking. He took his time and was very professional and welcoming.
Dr. Reff is one of most professional-caring and compassionate doctors that I have ever met. He truly listens and cares about his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Reff to anyone who needs his help.
Dr. Albeheary is great at her job! I felt at ease and felt she was really listening to me. I highly recommend.
Dr Gutzman has a nice office and there was no wait time. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient. She answered all of my questions and explained her reasoning. I would definitely recommend her!
Dr. Berman was professional, respectful of my time and listened well. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Rodamska is amazing she is very involved in my particular situation, which is complicated. She is very kind and extremely compassionate towards my situation. I would highly recommend her to anyone I know. She has helped me through very difficult times and followed them through.
He can be fast talking and may interrupt but he does know what he is talking about. Once I got over those quirks I really do trust his opinion. He ensure that, before any course of action taken is something you are comfortable with first. He takes accountability for issues your bring up and works with you. Overall a good practitioner.
Visit with psychiatrist went fine. I made an appointment to see a therapist the following week. When I arrived, I found out they had forgotten to put me in their system. No apology, no appointment. The therapist was there and sat me down only to try and reschedule. She claimed cross wires and a new receptionist was to blame. The whole interaction just felt alienating and unprofessional, so I’ve decided to look for therapy somewhere else.
The entire office was great. Professional, caring and centrally located in the city.
He is very thorough and very blunt. If you need sugar coating he's not for you. But was very happy with how in depth he was. I felt like he was really accurately assesub my situation
Dr. Smajkic is very punctual, his demeanor a welcoming one. He has a few weeknights available to accommodate younger patients that are tied down to the normal academic weekday time-table, after-school activities or sports schedules. His hours and central-city location are extremely convenient, right across the street from Northwestern Hospital, so close to parking and easily accessible on so many public transportation routes - his proximity to Mag Mile is a huge plus, too. Very impressed!
Met with one of the PAs in the office, Alyssa Bobak. Was very satisfied with her as a mental health professional.
