About Dr. Aaron Chi

Dr. Chi completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at UC San Diego and received his doctorate degree from Western University of Health Sciences. He graduated with Honors and was on the Dean’s List. He has clinical experience in a variety of settings such as the WJB Dorn Veterans Hospital (South Carolina) and Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital (Twentynine Palms). He has also worked directly with a LASIK specialist and a glaucoma specialist. He provides a variety of services such glasses/contact lens prescriptions, specialty scleral lenses, and myopia management. He also manages a variety of eye conditions such as infections, dry eyes, glaucoma, and post-operative LASIK/cataract.
Dr. Chi has lived in Orange County since he emigrated from Taiwan over 20 years ago. He loves the diversity and food Orange County has to offer. Through the ups and downs, he remains a loyal Lakers fan and tries to watch most games. He also enjoys photography and keeping his car in tip-top shape. With all that, he cherishes the times he spends with his daughter and wife the most.

Great doc and staff! Doc Got me out of my proggresive lenses which were costing me a fortune. Great communication and care on why I don’t need them and what I should be wearing.

I came in because I was having trouble with my close up vision at work, and I saw Dr. Chi. He was very pleasant and thorough with my exam, and addressed my eyes basically from top to bottom. He didn’t traumatize me with eyedrops or air puffs so huge thank you for that! Afterwards, I met with his staff to talk about glasses and they are sooo nice! She did not try to upsell me on glasses and explained costs with my insurance. I ended up picking a pair of cute and stylish Pradas for my computer glasses… Who knew it could be so affordable with insurance! Lol! Thank you Dr. Chi and his team!

I hope Dr. Chi never retires, he’s amazing!! Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he also has great bedside manner. I was also very impressed with all the new ways he has to examine my eyes. I really felt it was a complete eye exam!
When it came time to choosing glasses I loved the selection they had. Love my glasses and special thanks to Lina for helping me pick them out! Thanks for taking great care of my eyes!!

Dr. Chi has been my optometrist for many years, and I can confidently say he is a genuinely caring and soft-spoken individual. He attentively listens to your concerns and takes the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring you fully understand your situation. His professionalism is matched by the kindness of his staff, who are always helpful and friendly. One of the assistants skillfully measures my eye pressure and performs eye scans with ease, making the process smooth and comfortable. I truly appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the time I spend in the office, where I always feel valued and well cared for.
