“The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was seen quickly, but the wait for the doctor was quite long. I had a great experience with Dr. Kahn, however, she did preface that she speaks very quickly and she really does. She told me to stop her at any time if I needed clarification and she listened to all my questions and concerns. I’m very happy with my experience with her so far!”

Abigail Kahn, MD, welcomes patients to visit her for all aspects of obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine annual exams, labor and delivery services, family planning, infertility, and surgical procedures. Her sensitivity and gentle demeanor along with her dedication to the highest clinical standards have made her a popular physician on the Upper West Side.
Dr. Kahn practices with a holistic approach to women’s health. She has a consistently low C-section rate and helps patients achieve a natural delivery if that is what they desire. She believes that pregnancy is a special time in a woman’s life and works hard to create a memorable pregnancy, labor and delivery for her patients.
Dr. Kahn is a full time ob-gyn at West Care and a voluntary faculty member of Mount Sinai Roosevelt. Prior to this, she worked as a full time faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Roosevelt, where she also received her residency training. In her final year, she served as Administrative Chief Resident, and was awarded Best research study entitled, “In the Absence of Male-Factor Infertility, Is There an Advantage to ICSI Over Standard IVF?” Dr. Kahn graduated with distinction from the Sackler School of Medicine, and magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Kahn is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrician and Gynecologists, and a member of the American Medical Association.
