Adam Paddock, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, where he studied in the Honors College with a focus on literature and zoology. A Metairie native and Brother Martin High School graduate, Dr. Paddock completed clinical training at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Tennessee and Eyecare Associates in Metairie, where he trained under his childhood optometrist and mentor. These experiences helped shape his interest in ocular disease, low vision care, and comprehensive family eye care. He joined Bond-Wroten Eye Clinic after several years of practice in Metairie and Baton Rouge. Today, Dr. Paddock provides full-scope optometric care with a focus on glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, contact lenses, and pediatrics. He also offers specialized care in low vision and specialty contact lens fittings. Dr. Paddock is board certified by the American Board of Optometry, certified in advanced procedures in Louisiana, and active in several professional organizations. He also mentors optometry students as an externship director and adjunct faculty member, and volunteers with the Special Olympics Opening Eyes program. Dr. Paddock and his wife raised their three children in Hammond, where they are active members of Holy Ghost School and Church. Outside of work, he enjoys watching his kids' activities, cheering on LSU, and spending time in the garden.
