About Dr. Adia McDuffey

Dr. McDuffey grew up as an Army brat, traveling extensively with her family. She earned her Bachelor from the College of William and Mary, followed by a Master from Mississippi College. Dr. McDuffey then pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry During her time there, she served as the President of the Student VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity), where she planned and participated in mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Panama. She was also the Student Liaison for the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. In recognition of her dedication, she received the U.S. Army Health Professions Scholarship Program and was direct commissioned as a Captain in the US. Army, serving in optometry as well as in Health Services Administration. Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. McDuffey enjoys taking walks with her dog, exploring local coffee shops, and traveling to new destinations.
