About Dr. Adil Zahiruddin
Dr. Adil Zahiruddin joined Allergy & ENT Associates in August 2018. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Dr. Zahiruddin has special interests in asthma and sinusitis; allergies including hay fever, food allergies, angioedema, and anaphylaxis; skin conditions including eczema, hives, and contact dermatitis; and both acquired and inherited immunodeficiencies.
Dr. Zahiruddin was born and grew up in Houston, Texas. He graduated cum laude from Union College with a bachelor of science degree in biology and economics. He graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed Internal Medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by Allergy and Immunology fellowship at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where he served as chief fellow.
Dr. Zahiruddin is committed to partnering with his patients to find individual treatment options using evidence based medicine and the latest advancements in the field. He enjoys exploring Houston restaurants, as well as traveling with his wife and two sons.

I never felt rushed, he gave me his full attention and showed genuine care. If the clinic is busy or your appointment runs a little late, it’s a great sign and absolutely worth the wait. However, the office administrator was unprofessional and did not provide clear communication regarding the medication sent to Walgreens. Additionally, there was an error with the patient’s date of birth, which contributed to a poor overall experience.

Dr. Adil is incredibly kind and truly cares about his patients. I’ve had allergy issues for years without knowing the cause, and I had never done any testing before. He explained everything very clearly and performed both a skin test and a blood test to help identify my allergy symptoms. Throughout the process, he made sure I understood every step and continuously checked if I had any questions or concerns. He listened patiently and ensured I left without any confusion.
The entire staff is also very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this clinic! ??

From the ease of finding the best doctor for me to making the appointment online with no wait was extremely helpful with my busy schedule. When I got to the office the staff was not only friendly but very efficient. I had no long endless pages of paper work to complete. I simply provided my id and insurance card and that pretty much got me checked in. Then the doctor himself was very patient, attentive and detailed. He appeared to an expert in his field and that’s exactly what I was looking for. He also had some recommended tweaks to my existing regiment and not only prescribed the medication but demonstrated the proper application so as to get the best results. Thank you Dr Z!

I scheduled a consultation appointment as a new patient but needed to reschedule. Despite not being seen by the doctor or filling out any forms, I was told over the phone that I’d be charged a late cancellation fee and that a bill would be sent to my address. This was never communicated to me before and feels unfair and unprofessional!

Dr. Z is awesome! He is a great listener, very thorough, and explains things in a way that I can understand. I felt like he truly looked at me and my issue as a whole. The rest of the staff (nurses, reception, etc.) were all absolutely wonderful. I will see him again, and picked up a few cards for friends.

My experience with Dr. Adil Zahiruddin was fantastic. He took the time to carefully listen to all my concerns and explain his recommended treatment plan. I left his office feeling more positive about the outcome of my ailment. I went in due to my allergies and severe cough.The appointment was at 2:30 but i arrived at 2. Unfortunately, i was seen by the doctor at 3:30. But once Dr. Zahiruddin came. i was very pleased with him. He did not rush, he listened to all the issues, explained the medication side effects and other methods to allivate the side effects to minimal and also apologize for delay. But the best part was, he said to followup with him in 2 days . i have seem lots of doctor, but by far he been the best.
