“I am always pleased and satisfied for Dr. Allan Brown’s care every time i came in for my eye exam. From the front desk, Nurse assisting me, and my Doctor Brown and to the cashier’s everyone is so accommodating and very respectful and the place is very clean too. Totally different from the other locations in Dunwoody that i went one time and i will never go back there for some reasons that is not the same care and cleanliness in Lilburn clinic and everyone is professional.”

About Dr. Alan Brown

Alan D. Brown, O.D. is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. He joined the medical staff of Thomas Eye Group in 1998. Dr. Brown specializes in pediatric and adult medical eye care. He provides eye exams, contact lenses and the diagnosis and treatment of medical eye problems for adults and children. Dr. Brown completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland. He received his Bachelors Degree in Physiological Optics and Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Alabama Medical Center School of Optometry. He has practiced in the Atlanta area since 1983, including within a multi-specialty medical group from 1991-1998. His specialties there included management and treatment of keratoconus and glaucoma. Dr. Brown is a member of the Fifth District of Optometry-Metro Atlanta, the Georgia Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. He is on the faculty of the UAB Medical Center/School of Optometry as an externship director and is also the volunteer director for the optometry clinic of Good Samaritan Health Center, Gwinnett.
