About Dr. Alexandra Gelt

Dr. Alexandra Gelt earned her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, graduating with honors. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary, Alberta, graduating with honors. Dr. Gelt completed internships at the Fresno VA Hospital in Fresno, California, Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and Barnet Dulaney Eye Center in Phoenix. Following this, she completed advanced residency training in ocular disease and refractive surgery at the Northwest Eye Surgeons Clinic in Seattle. Prior to co-founding Clearvue Vision Center, Dr. Gelt developed extensive expertise in managing various ocular conditions, including a special focus on glaucoma, dry eye, and diabetic eye disease. She also has significant experience co-managing Lasik and cataract patients. Dr. Gelt is actively involved with the American Optometric Association, Optometric Physicians of Washington, and the King County Optometric Society. She has also contributed to her community by offering vision screenings for both military personnel and school children. In her free time, Dr. Gelt enjoys traveling, the performing arts, and spending time with her husband and their two children.
