Dr. Alexandra Kyrillos is a caring and comprehensive OBGYN in New York City. Dr. Kyrillos is a graduate of Georgetown University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology of Global Health. After her undergraduate studies, she worked in surgical research at NorthShore University Health System in Evanston, IL.
Dr. Kyrillos then returned to Washington DC and received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. She graduated with the Raymond T. Holden Award, presented to a graduating student by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for outstanding academic performance in their field.
She then completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training in New York City at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai West and Morningside Program. Here she received a medical student-voted Excellence in Teaching award, as well as the Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology Award.
Dr. Kyrillos is committed to providing comprehensive health care for patients. She works in faculty practice with Northwell Health in a physician group at Lenox Hill Hospital. She takes pride in listening carefully to patients, discussing all treatment options, and helping patients make informed decisions. When she is not in the office, Dr. Kyrillos enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling, and exploring New York City.

I had a gynecologist appointment today with Dr. Alexandra Kyrillos at 4:45. I arrived at 5:01 p.m. The front desk told me since I’m past my 15 minutes grace period even by 1 minute, that I need to reschedule. I explained to her there is a legit flood warning and train delays and she did not care one bit. She was very rude and then explained to me that the doctor already had come up and told her before I came to reschedule me because she’s benign. So which is it? I’m late or the doctor needs more time with her patients she’s already seeing? I’ve never had this experience before and I wish to never have it again. As a new patient I was looking forward to meeting the Doctor, but I am going to see a different doctor going forward.

I am incredibly happy to have found Dr. Kyrillos. My appointment covered exactly what I needed--it was very efficient and comprehensive, and I have no doubt that Dr. Kyrillos would've taken time to listen to me if I had any issues to bring up (I did not--my reason for visiting was very straightforward). Even more importantly, Dr. Kyrillos is charming and kind. I felt very at ease with her and everyone I interacted with. I really appreciate that there was no pressure/expectation surrounding pregnancy--I do not plan to get pregnant, so I was very relieved there was no judgement regarding my decision. I'm very grateful to have found Dr. Kyrillos!

Couldn't have asked for a better first doctor visit! Not only was I seen right away in this very clean and quiet office, but everyone I saw from the front desk staff to the nurses and doctor was incredibly warm and friendly. The doctor really listened to my concerns, answered all questions, and was thorough in her overall exam, not to mention very gentle. I felt very taken care of and am so glad to have found a new gynecologist that I like and trust!

I am unsure how to feel after today’s appointment. I was a new patient at this practice. I disclosed that I have a mental health diagnosis and immediately felt uncomfortable and judged by the provider. In the past, I’ve never had any of my gynecologists tell me to go to my psychiatrist for a note saying that my psych medications do not interfere/interact negatively with the birth control I’ve been on for 8 YEARS. I am and have been fully aware of any and all risks. I explained that I do not want to try a different method because this specific one works well for me. I was only able to get a 1 month prescription from this visit as a result. Yes, I will honor the request to get a note from my psychiatrist but I don’t wouldn’t recommend this provider if you battle a mental illness because apparently you have to “prove” that you’re sane. That’s honestly how I felt and it hurt my feelings. Other than that, the office was clean, easy location to find, and staff was great.

Had the most pleasant experience I've had with an OBGYN in all my years of going. Dr. took me right away, she was patient, not in a rush, and took time to explain everything in detail through the appointment. Assisting staff was also helpful

Great appointment. I went on Zocdoc just a couple days before the annual appointment I needed to book. I did call to confirm and it took twice to get through.
I arrived and showed my insurance card and ID. I sat for maybe 2 minutes before getting called back.
The doctor and assistant were both lovely and paid attention and answered my questions. My birth control Rx was sent in easy. My blood work was also painless though I had to wait a for about 10 minutes before they started.
The doctor called me with results after. There was a bit of phone tag and the office does not return messages or answer consistently. My only complaint.
