About Dr. Alice Laflamme

Dr. Laflamme has French Canadian roots, however, she grew up nearby in Saint Johns, Florida. After graduating from Creekside High School, she earned her Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Florida. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry and Bachelor of Vision Science from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale. During her training, Dr. Laflamme completed rotations at multiple ocular disease sites: the Veterans Affairs Optometry Clinic in Gainesville, and Aker Kasten Eye Center in Boca Raton. Dr. Laflamme spent her first few years out of school practicing at an ophthalmology clinic in Maryland, gaining experience with a wide range of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, and diabetic retinopathy. Now, she is very excited to be back in Florida to serve her home community and be closer to her family. In her free time, Dr. Laflamme enjoys reading, lifting weights, and playing video games. She loves to spend time with her loved ones, including her dog, Remi. When caring for her patients, Dr. Laflamme values education and empathy and strives to make your visit a welcoming experience.
