“I came to the appointment and I was told by a secretary that my appointment was canceled. When I told her I hadn't been notified, she told me that they contacted me. They hadn't. I took out time on a busy day to make it to my appointment and they couldn't even contact me, plus their attitude was snarky- like the burden was on me. This is after you can't even call.the office for any reason- they just don't pick up, and it takes about 15 minutes of waiting on the phone until the service will.actually let you leave a callback number. Not acceptable. I can only presume that they're so comfortable with their status as a women's health group in a community with few of these women's health groups, that they dont have to care about customer service.”

Alina Fuchs, MD, MBS, BS, has obstetrics, gynecology, and medicine in her genes. Her aunt, Dr. Smekuna, was the delivering OB/Gyn at her birth. Her uncle, Dr. M. Fuks, and Dr. A. Fuks are both practicing physicians, her mother, Dr. M. Fuchs, is a dentist, and her husband, Dr. Alexeev, is a current pain management fellow.
She received a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), and her Doctor of Medicine from American University of Antigua College of Medicine. She completed her internship in obstetrics and gynecology at Nassau University Medical Center and her residency training at Maimonides Medical Center, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Fuchs offers a full spectrum of women’s health services, including Pap tests, contraception counseling, STD testing, LEEP, and sterilization. Since graduating, she has been practicing in central New Jersey, providing care to women at all stages of life—from family planning to menopause. She is fluent in Russian.
When she is not with patients, Dr. Fuchs loves spending time with her family—her husband and son.

The first experience there was so fast and really wonderful. However second time I was waiting over an hour before I was seen, and heard staff arguing from inside my room. Additionally it seems there was pregnant patrons who had been waiting 2 hours. I had to walk out in my gown to the front desk twice to ensure they were still coming to me. However everyone was nice and you could tell the doctor was working hard and her best to be efficient while still tending to personal patient needs.

I’ll start with how my appointment was scheduled for 3:30, I called informing them I may be 10-15 minutes late and this made this whole stink about me possibly having to reschedule since that’s “late”. I got there 3:32, wasn’t called till 4:45, I have one leg out of my pants to get into the gown and I get told “no don’t undress, the systems are down and we don’t internet”. Imagine that, getting told you may have to reschedule your appointment if you’re 15 mins late, getting there.. waiting an hour and 10 minutes, and then being told “sorry for the inconvenience, our systems are done” . They never pick up the phone either. Never again.

Dr. Fuchs is a true gem. I felt extremely comfortable speaking with her. She is extremely knowledgeable in her scope of practice and I will continue to go to her. Thanks Dr. Fuchs it was a pleasure!
