About Dr. Alissa Long

Providing excellent patient care with compassion and attention to detail is what sets me apart from my peers. I earned my Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry and completed my undergraduate studies at Doane University. At Eye Consultants, in addition to providing routine optometric care such as eye exams and prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses, I help post-surgical patients, those with severe ocular conditions, and many glaucoma patients achieve the vision they desire. We are committed to offering the latest advances in eye care and are proud to provide novel treatments for dry eye issues, such as the OptiLight IPL treatment. I am also excited to collaborate with our Cataract Surgeons in delivering the latest intraocular lens technology—the Light Adjustable Lens—which can be adjusted postoperatively to provide the best possible vision outcomes.
