Allen H. Chin (“Dr. Chin”), O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1975. His undergraduate studies were completed at Louisiana State University (LSU) and the University of Houston. His fields of special interest include keratoconus and orthokeratology, and his reputation and clinical experience have earned the referrals and trust of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and medical clinics throughout Houston. Dr. Chin is a Fellow of the International Orthokeratology Society and serves as adjunct faculty for the New England College of Optometry. He also remains active in the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. Dr. Chin's early college studies began in chemical engineering; however, he chose to switch to optometry because he values his daily interactions with people. He believes it is a privilege to create and establish lifelong relationships with his patients. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Chin enjoys spending his free time gardening.
