About Dr. Amanda Raffa

Dr. Amanda Raffa is a dedicated optometrist focusing on comprehensive primary eye care for patients of all ages. Her clinical expertise includes prescribing corrective lenses, fitting contact lenses, and diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular diseases. Dr. Raffa earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Providence College in 2021, where she was also a member of the Liberal Arts Honors Program. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in 2025. Her clinical training included rotations at the St. Louis Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Eyesight Ophthalmics in Portsmouth, NH, and The Eye Center at SCO in Memphis, TN, providing her with a diverse and well-rounded foundation in eye care. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and remains committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care. A proud native of Acushnet on Massachusetts' South Coast, Dr. Raffa values time with her family and friends, enjoys relaxing beach days, and loves a good cup of coffee. She is excited to see patients in the community she calls home!
