I am an obstetrician and gynecologist for Durham OB/GYN. I follow patients during their teenage years, through pregnancies and menopause. One of the special things about being a practicing OB/GYN is being a part of the lifelong care of a woman. When I meet a new patient I like to get a good history and set a treatment plan that is specific to that individual's needs and problems. Plus, being a part of the Duke team allows me to work closely with a woman’s primary care provider along with any specialist. My favorite part of my job is all of the different things I get to do, from seeing patients in the office to delivering babies to being a part of OR procedures. The variety keeps me very motivated. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my husband and two little girls.
