About Dr. Amir Karbaschi
Hi there! I'm Dr. Amir Karbaschi and I was born and raised in Houston, TX. I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston and earned my doctorate at the U.H. College of Optometry. I completed my clinical rotations at the College of Optometry Eye Center in Houston and Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, TX. My rotations focused extensively on providing primary optometric care and the management of diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and ocular emergencies.
As a licensed therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist, I've had the privilege of working in many multifaceted clinics treating complex eye conditions including postoperative LASIK and cataract complications. I strive to deliver a unique and educational experience to every patient making them feel empowered about their eye health.
I look forward to providing exceptional eye care to all of the surrounding communities. When I'm not in the clinic, I enjoy playing tennis and competing in Spartan Races. I'm an avid Houston sports fan and love supporting my alma mater. Go Coogs!

Dr. Amir is a wonderful optometrist who cares deeply about his patients. He has helped me routinely with my eye issues and has helped bring me peace of mind each time I have an appointment. I strongly recommend anyone see him for eye related issues and check ups. He is very meticulous, listens to your issues, and will work with you on solutions. My girlfriend and I both see him, and have had great experiences each time. We both strongly recommend seeing Dr. Amir :).

When I showed up I was greeted - the office was beautiful and clean. The staff was really friendly, kind and patient, and so was the doctor! Dr. Amir Karbaschi was really great! He took his time, was thorough, answered all my questions, and he was friendly too. They said I could buy glasses there if I wanted to but no pressure - which I love. Also the equipment was more high tech than I’m used to at my old the doctor. It was great! I would definitely go back.

Doctor K is the best eye doctor I’ve ever had. Eye theory on the whole are excellent. They are thorough and really great communicators. I have cerebral palsy and explaining the weirdness of my condition is difficult sometimes. Doctor K seems to understand which is wonderful. Everyone at Eye Theory is friendly but not pushy. They’re just really looking out for your eye health not your cash

Great Visit! I've been to many different eye doctors in the past, and this by far was the best! Dr. Amir truly listened to my concerns and took the time to address every single one of them.
