About Dr. Amy Fuhr-Dechant

Amy Fuhr-Dechant, O.D., earned her Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University in 1995 and holds a Bachelor of Visual Science from South Dakota State University. She fondly recalls her early experience of wearing eyeglasses as a five-year-old, which sparked her interest in optometry. Seeing it as a way to help others, Dr. Fuhr-Dechant is dedicated to making each patient's visit as positive as possible and providing them with their best vision. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, practicing yoga, and has recently taken up beading and sewing as new hobbies.
