About Dr. Amy Levav
Dr. Levav is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the Medical Center of Delaware, where she was recognized and honored as the best Resident Instructor. She had research published in the American Journal of Gerontology as well as the American Journal of Perinatology. She also presented research on abnormal Paps and the management of cervical dysplasia. Dr. Levav is Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She worked in private practice in New York for 6 years prior to moving to Maryland and joining Women’s Health Specialists. Dr. Levav’s background in counseling and mentoring teenagers gives her a special interest in the health concerns of young women. Her experience as a health and fitness instructor, combined with research in diabetes and nutrition, plays a vital role in her approach to caring for women’s health issues. She also has a special interest in contraception, abnormal Paps, abnormal bleeding and menopausal issues.

FEW friendly staff and I got left off after seeing the doctor. I have no idea where should I go or what is next!? I walked out and waited at the front for a while because NO ONE sitting at the front desk. I then walked to the lady at the back that busy scrolling through her phone and asked if I had to do anything else. She said I can go without checking on any of my information. Also asked me about the services before I left. I said everything’s good but do you know what? “I lied” Everything sucks!

They had the wrong appointment type when I signed in, front desk didn't seem friendly or the nurse who took me back, was seen almost 20 minutes after my appointment, the doctor talked more than I did and when she brushed my concerns off as anxiety I was completely over the appointment. I've been to this practice for almost 20 years and I will not be returning, it's bad enough my main provider left and they neglected to tell me. Overall appointment was horrible
