I have had several appointments with Dr. Anderson and felt unhelpful and lacking empathy. Her response to my questions or concerns have been patronizing and dismissive. I’m sure she is brilliant, but her bedside manner needs work.

I was contacted SEVERAL times by assistants and registrars prior to my visit. My visit started 30 minutes late. My doctor did not know who I was as her patient and stated she had been given the wrong chart. She never went to find the correct chart. She was rude and condescending throughout the visit due to my concerns of her not being aware of the purpose of my visit, nor who I was. I accomplished nothing during this visit as I was also attempting to reschedule an ultrasound appointment that she ordered for me, which was never done during visit.

My appointment with Dr. Andrea Anderson exceeded all my expectations. This was my first appointment with her to establish myself as a new patient. I was contacted by a 3rd year medical student in advance of the appointment to provide details about my medical history and identify any issues and concerns. He was outstanding in condensing my stream-of-consciousness medical history and concerns into a concise and thorough summary to Dr. Anderson at the start of my appointment with her. She addressed every concern and listened to what I said without rushing me or minimizing my concerns. Her interpersonal skills are outstanding and I felt that she cared about me - something a bit unusual for doctors. Definitely recommend her!

Dr. Anderson was highly receptive to my needs and a great listener. She was compassionate and understanding, and did not make me feel rushed during my appointment (which I find in some cases with past doctors). I’ll be coming back to her as my PCP.

Dr. Anderson was wonderfully attentive and responsive. I had a list of questions which she answered; she provided referrals, and immediately set up my flu and shingle shots. She engaged me. This was the best doctor visit I've had in a long time.

It was my first consultation with Dr. Anderson by televisit. She was welcoming and very easy to talk to. We spent about 30-40 mins going over everything on Zoom. I did not like my experience but I can't say if she is a good doctor or not. My apprehension is related to wait time and the fact that my appointment was obviously used as a training session ( i.e ,things were repeated several times, I was spoken to like I was in a middle school health class). This is unrelated to medical competency, but I was not pleased. However, the doctor has great reviews, so people have had good experiences and maybe someone else will have a better experience than me in the future.
